About us

Dr. Andrea Harl began her life with a love for animals, growing up on an acreage with ducks, chickens, dogs, cats, and horses. When she was five years old, she realized their horse vet was a woman and knew that’s the path she wanted for her career. She originally considered becoming an equine vet and still loves horses, but currently sees only small animals. She’s a 2007 graduate of Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine and has worked in several highly respected practices in the Tulsa area. She joined PAWS early in 2020 as a relief doctor, and everyone loved her so much we asked her to join our team!

Her favorite part about being a vet is helping owners become closer to their pets. Like all of us at PAWS, she loves cuddling new puppies and kitties.

Dr. Harl has an avid interest in preventive medicine and a healthy lifestyle, both for humans and animals. She’s a certified yoga instructor who loves hiking, travel, and rock concerts. She’s a devoted mom to two teens, Aiden and Isabella. Her furry family includes a dog named River and an orange tabby kitten named Phoenix.

Stevi is a graduate of the veterinary technician program at Tulsa Community College in 2016. She has experience working in urgent care, nutrition, and neonatal care. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is learning the best medicine to help animals and passing her knowledge to newer technicians and assistants. She has been married to her husband since 2013, whom she gives credit to for helping her through the technician program. Together they have 2 human teenagers, 4 dogs, 5 cats, a turtle, a crocodile skink, and a snake! Outside of work, Stevi enjoys adventurous activities such as kayaking or even skydiving. We are so excited to have her on the PAWS team!

Marissa grew up with many animals from a young age. She discovered her love for caring for animals as she owns 5 horses, 3 dogs, and 3 cats on a farm. Marissa has been a team member at PAWS since 2022 and is quickly learning how to be an amazing assistant. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is surgery and client education to better the lives of pets. In her free time, she enjoys barrel racing!

Caity was raised around farm animals and found herself owning horses, cows, pigs, cats, and dogs from a young age. She was part of FFA in school and loved learning animal science. She knew early on she wanted to be part of a team that cared for animals the way PAWS does! Caity has been in the veterinary field since 2017 and has worked with PAWS since 2018. She’s been with her husband for many years and together they have two children, Ryder and River. Their fur family consists of 2 adopted dogs named Zola and Eddie, and a cat named Luna. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the lake with her family.

Sam grew up with her family in Broken Arrow, where she graduated from Broken Arrow High School. She has an extensive background in customer service. PAWS is her first occupation in the veterinary field and she is loving all the knowledge she is gaining every day! Sam and her boyfriend have recently moved to the country and are enjoying their new lifestyle. They have a dog, named Molly, who was adopted from the Broken Arrow Animal Shelter and is the light of their lives. We love having her on our team, and we know you will love her too!

Kat has lived in Broken Arrow his whole life and grew up not only with his own dog but also pet sitting the neighbors dogs until he graduated high school in 2022. Shortly after graduating he joined Clean Paws and worked there for a year before moving over to our team. Kat loves to hang out at home and spoil baby, a 12 year old Weimaraner mix, Selena.

Dr. Mathews is a lifelong animal lover who believes our pets help us tap into the best part of ourselves—the place in our heart that creates unconditional love.

Her favorite part of owning PAWS is seeing its employees grow and discover their incredible potential. She is literally surrounded by compassionate, dedicated rockstars, and feels unbelievably blessed to be among them.

Dr. Mathews has three children, almost grown, and is delighted to have recently married her husband and best friend, Billy Stacey. They share a love for traveling, kayaking, nature walks, movies, and antique malls. Since Dr. Mathews took over, PAWS has undertaken numerous improvements designed to help clients and their furbabies enjoy a more relaxed, gentle, and less stressful visit. From monthly payment plans (ease of budgeting) to digital X-ray (fast and accurate) to newly-remodeled lobby and exam rooms (non-skid floor, couches in rooms, fold up exam tables), Dr. Mathews planned each move with patient and client comfort in mind. She’s always up for new ideas and loves to hear from clients.

Linzi married her high school sweetheart in 2011. Together, they have a human son, Logan, the sweetest pitbull named LT, and a three-legged cat named Nala which is our clinic cat at PAWS.
